What you will do:

  • The Terrace at Eddy Memorial in Troy, NY has an outstanding opportunity for a full time, part time, or per diem Resident Assistant to assist with activities of daily living.

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal care, medication assistance, responding to the nurse call system, and safety checks.

  • Participate in activities programs.

  • Ongoing interaction with residents including cueing and orienting as needed.

  • Assist in the dining room with resident menu selection and serving meals.

What you will need:

  • Caring, compassionate and positive attitude with a desire to work with seniors in a place where we become a "second family" to our residents.

  • HS Diploma/GED preferred.

Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center is a beautiful 80 bed nursing home that has been providing outstanding care to the local community since 1985. We’re located at 2256 Burdett Avenue in Troy (directly across the street from Samaritan Hospital, a part of our health system), with an on-site CDTA bus stop.

A member of the esteemed Eddy system of senior living facilities, Eddy Memorial (or EMGC for short) has a goal of providing the highest possible quality of life to residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of memory loss, while also providing a full suite of long-term care and short term rehabilitation services for our memory care and non-memory care residents alike

Pay Range: :$16.70 - $24.20

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
