Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. HVCC offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in three schools: Business and Liberal Arts; Health Sciences; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Hudson Valley is one of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York (SUNY) system and serves nearly 9,000 students each year. We are creating a qualified registry of applicants for the Kids on Campus Summer 24 Camps.

TITLE: Head Coach, Softball

HV-KOC-Head Coach Softball Sum24

Position is with the Summer Athletic Camps and is pending enrollment

Program Dates: July 8,2024-July 12, 2024, 9am-12pm.

Salary is $400 per week (5 ½ days)

Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree. At least five years of experience coaching in appropriate sport; possess working knowledge of all aspects of Softball; prior experience working in a camp setting.

Duties and/or Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supervising program activities related to his/her particular sport

• Responsible for developing program content

• Oversee appropriate use of college equipment and facilities

• Provide support to assistant coaches in resolving problems

• Make time available to meet with parents as needed

• Promote the program in dealing with the community

• Prepare final report and other documents as necessary

• Promote good sportsmanship

• Perform other duties as assigned
