Unity House Clinical Supervisor-ACT Team Lead in Troy, New York

The ACT Program is looking for a Team Leader (NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) preferred)

The position is a full-time staff member whose role is three-fold: providing direct services as a clinician on the team; providing supervision to each specialty role based on evidence-based practice, trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and person-centered language; and providing administrative oversight to the team.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team.

Supervise all professional and paraprofessional staff, ensuring demonstration of core competencies initially and in continued job performance.

Provide administrative oversight to the team.

Manage challenging situations while prioritizing competing demands.

Ensure this evidence-based practice is delivered by a mobile, multi-disciplinary mental health treatment team.

Coordinate a full range of clinical treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, and community support services to help to promote recovery by improving psychiatric symptoms.

Deliver services in community-based setting, and comfortable performing home visits and assist with teaching skills to ensure success.

Demonstrate excellent written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills.

Effectively collaborate with staff across the agency and also shift roles from Team Leader to direct service delivery.

Ability to function in fast paced environment.

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary mobile treatment team.

Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.

Requirements:

NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) required. At least 1 year of experience working in human services with individuals with serious mental illness and those with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. Must be outcome oriented in a fast-paced environment with deadlines. Able to work in the Microsoft Office Suite, should be proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel.
