Job Description:
The Department of Psychology at Russell Sage College (RSC) invites potential candidates to apply for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant or Associate Professor, effective Fall 2024. The primary responsibility for this position will be teaching in the online graduate M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and Community Psychology program, and may also include teaching undergraduate courses. Duties may also include supervising interns, developing practicum and internship sites, and participating in student recruitment. The successful candidate will also have an active program of scholarship.
The estimated base academic year salary for this position is $55,000 commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a Doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology and have an interest in interdisciplinary collaboration around issues of health and wellness across the lifespan from a community perspective with a particular focus on underserved populations. A background in multicultural counseling and online course development is especially welcome. Preference will be given to graduates of APA accredited doctoral programs and internships. Candidates should be licensed or license-eligible in New York State and have the ability to periodically travel to campus.
