Software Program Owner. Troy, MI. Responsible for software engineering customer communication for assigned automotive active safety/autonomous driving software programs. Work with stakeholders and customers to understand needs and split capabilities to define and prioritize features. Approve features at customer project/program reviews. Validate that feature meets acceptance criteria. Collaborate with Platform and Program Architects to define functional and non-functional requirements. Work with release management to define customer releases and solution increments. Work with Platform Architects/Engineering and Program Architects to understand and prioritize work on a platform level. Assess metrics, including evaluating business value achieved versus planned. Participate in pre- and post-program increment planning to define inputs, milestones, and high-level objectives. Work with suppliers to ensure requirements for supplier-delivered features are understood. Assist with conceptual integration. Align with platform/component owners on program increment customer objectives. Requires Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering and five years of progressive experience with software for automotive active safety systems, including analyzing software requirements, debugging application issues, designing automotive safety software system requirements, coordinating software releases, performing hardware-in-loop testing, and use of Embedded C, JIRA, MISRA, Polyspace, and SVN.
