HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of QA Consultant (Ref# QAC116UNB) to work in Troy, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.  Job Duties:  Under direct supervision, conduct quality assurance and testing analysis of applications in diverse business and technical environments.  Identify the client requirements by detailed discussions/meetings with client, functional users, functional/technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators.  Prepare and document test plans based on the system requirements specification.  Prepare test scripts to automate the functionalities.  Create test cases for system testing and maintain the test environments.  Prepare unit test cases, unit test logs, and data for testing.  Inspect test results for accuracy and completeness.  Ensure the desired quality standards and the system functionality are being met.  Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within existing system.  Analyze complex business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end users.  Review design ideas and prototype with product owners and development team.  Review the technical design specifications and code new or modify existing programs as per the design requirements.  Involved in coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining the applications.  Provide application technical support and maintenance activities for enhanced system functionality.  Interact with end-users and troubleshoot production issues.  Maintain a log of all change requests.  Analyze problem tickets of the testing team and provide efficient solutions.  Use of Pega PRPC, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Web Services (SOAP & REST), Agile, Selenium, Splunk, PostgreSQL, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).  Travel and/or relocation required.

Requirements:  This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.  Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Test Engineer or related experience.  Position requires 1 year of experience with test cases, Pega PRPC, Java, and Selenium.  40hrs/week.
