Entry Level .Net Software Developer, Civil Process

Tyler Technologies is looking for an innovative, talented, and passionate Software Engineer to join the Civil Process development team. This role suits individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment that provides opportunities for growth and learning. In this role, you will contribute to all phases of the development and delivery lifecycle, including the deployment of Civil Process products in client environments that are hosted on-premises and in the cloud. The ideal candidate will enjoy designing and building new product features, is interested in growing their skills with modern cloud technologies, and is passionate about our existing clients and is committed to working with our operations teams to ensure software is installed and upgraded on-time, and is working as expected in client environments. Responsibilities What you will do: Assist in the design and development of responsive, user-friendly applications and software integrations. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in a variety of technologies. Develop and maintain automation tests and frameworks. Participate in code reviews and pull requests to ensure code quality and consistency. Assist in providing support and maintenance for both new and legacy software systems. Install, upgrade, and configure production software deployments hosted on-premises and in AWS. Collaborate with operations team members to troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues found in client environments. Drive technical excellence into every aspect of the software development and delivery lifecycle. Continually learn and take initiative to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Cross-pollinate smart ideas and promote learning and knowledge sharing across teams. Qualifications What you will bring: 0-3 years experience with, or aptitude for, .NET, C# coding. Clear understanding of the software engineering concepts, principles, theories, software development process, and agile methodology. Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity. Ability to think critically, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including software, hardware, network, and other IT-related challenges. Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript, SQL, Angular, and REST APIs is beneficial. Experience with Amazon Web Services a plus Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. BS/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
