Adecco is currently looking for an Accounting Associate for a large world-renowned company. This position is an entry level role. The ideal candidate would have completed a recent internship and obtained a bachelor's degree OR have 1-2 years of accounting experience. The company is looking for someone to stay long term, grow within the company, and teach their own accounting styles too.

Job Title : Accounting Associate - Contractor

Job Summary The candidate will work as an Accounting Associate in Troy, MI on a contractual basis. They will be responsible for credit analysis and recommendations, travel expense auditing, vendor management processes and documentation collection for internal audits and financial reporting tasks using various accounting systems and databases. Even Simpler: The job is about managing company money matters like checking if customers can be given credit or not; making sure travel costs are reported correctly; dealing with paperwork for sellers; and helping to check the company's financial records.

Skill Requirements Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Basic knowledge of journal entries , general ledger , accounts receivables , accounts payable , revenue reconciliation , financial reporting , fixed assets , cash flow management

  • Intermediate understanding of accounting principles and cash flow management

  • Proficiency in MS Office ( Excel , Word and PowerPoint)

  • Experience with accounts payable/receivable systems and databases

Preferred:

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Effective communication skills

Pay Details: $29.00 per hour
