Peter Basso Associates Electrical Engineer - Health Care Focus in Troy, Michigan

Peter Basso Associates, Inc., a leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering consulting firm, is in search of *Engineers *to join our Healthcare and Labs team in Troy, MI!  These professionals will have an in-depth knowledge of Architectural Engineering in their discipline and the ability to work independently as they help design healthcare facilities for our clients.

As an Engineer with PBA, you will use your expertise to provide design for new and existing buildings.  You will provide our partners with system design options including product, material, and code research. You will manage the contract and scope of work for the projects you lead while mentoring and coaching the engineers working with you.  If you enjoy designing and documenting specific systems fully coordinated and integrated with all other building systems, as well as the building architectural systems from the schematic level through construction administration this position may be for you.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, education, or qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Experience at an MEP or A/E Firm with an interest in designing systems for health care facilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team oriented, collaborative workplace
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software, desired
