MICPA - The Michigan Association of CPAs Administrator in Troy, Michigan

The Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) is searching for a self-starter to provide essential support for the Business Development department of a professional not-for-profit association.

This role includes coordination of documents, reporting and analysis of information, focused on order processing, coordinating external and internal logistics, and maintaining our CRM database.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate an innovative and collaborative team-oriented style and possess excellent organization and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and switch tasks throughout the day, has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for personal and professional growth. In addition, this individual should demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to partner and member interactions.

Flexibility is necessary with staff required minimum of two days/week in the office, including required client meetings, monthly staff meetings and other training opportunities (days depend on member and team needs, along with what works best for your schedule).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist, coordinate, and manage all administrative details for sales or customized training.
  • Manage CRM database (Microsoft CRM), maintain current client information and update information as needed
  • Process and monitor billing requests with accounting team and track all sales on a regular basis.
  • Be the main contact to client/vendor to coordinate scheduled deliverables, communicate key details, and follow up with metrics of campaigns, etc.
  • Prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents accurately and in a timely manner.

Required skills:

  • Associate degree or a combination of education, training and work experience in either business administration, business, communications or other related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple priorities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Maintain a level of professionalism in responding to communications with clients/partners/vendors.
  • Ability to work independently, manage own time effectively, maintain control over current projects/responsibilities.
  • Problem solver and forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
  • Access to reliable transportation for traveling to meetings/events within the state.

Desirable skills/knowledge:

  • Association or trade/service organizations
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
  • Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Microsoft CRM is a plus.

*Salary: *$36,000 - $39,000
