We’re seeking a high-caliber Science Program Lead with a strong technical background to spearhead our Program Delivery solution. As a senior leader within the organization, this role requires strategic vision, client focus, operational excellence, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will be responsible for overseeing highly complex programs across a variety of industries and geographies, ensuring they meet technical and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing intricate technical projects and fostering collaboration across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Section 1: Leadership Competencies

1. Strategic Vision:

  • Develop and communicate a clear strategic vision for Program Delivery, aligning it with clients' technical objectives and the broader organizational goals.

  • Continuously evaluate industry trends and incorporate them into the program strategy to maintain a competitive edge.

2. Client Focus:

  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, comprehending their technical requirements, and proactively addressing their needs.

  • Ensure client satisfaction and loyalty by consistently delivering high-quality services across diverse industries and geographies.

Section 2: Operational Excellence

1. Process Efficiency:

  • Optimize Program Delivery processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high technical standards.

  • Implement best practices and advanced tools to streamline operations and elevate performance.

2. Quality Assurance:

  • Establish rigorous quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy and precision of technical outputs, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations.

Section 3: Communication and Collaboration

1. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.

  • Effectively communicate technical requirements and updates across all levels of the organization and clientele.

2. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate solutions and insights into broader organizational strategies.

  • Promote knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary teamwork to harness collective expertise.

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise to internal business development team members, supporting new opportunities and proposals.

Section 4: Growth

1. Client Growth:

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the organization’s footprint in the managed solutions and Program Delivery market.

  • Work with sales and marketing to win new business, leveraging our technical expertise to help craft effective proposals and solutions.

  • Drive revenue growth by fostering organic expansion within existing clients and exploring new market opportunities.

Section 5: Continuous Improvement

1. Innovation and Adaptability:

  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration and adoption of new technical solutions and technologies.

  • Adapt to evolving industry trends and client needs to maintain relevance and competitiveness.

2. Performance Metrics:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and regularly evaluate progress.

  • Identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.

  • Take ownership of the program’s financial performance, including budget planning and reconciliation.

  • Monitor expenses, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure that financial targets are met.

  • Analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements through PowerBI to assess the program’s financial health.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in technical programs and/or large account management.

  • 5+ years of experience in people management of different skill levels.

  • Strong client management skills and a track record of building lasting relationships.

  • Expertise in process optimization, quality assurance, and financial performance management.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Microsoft products for financial analysis and reporting.

  • Bachelor’s in science highly preferred, experience managing scientific solutions in various domains (pharmaceutical, medical device, and chemical). Experience with process improvement initiatives and an understanding of KPIs for this space.
