Eaton Corporation Material Handler- 1st Shift in Troy, Illinois

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Material Handler- 1st Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $21.84 per hour. The regularly scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:

Position Overview:

The Material Handler will operate all mobile equipment and lifting systems safely and sufficiently.

In this function, you will:

  • Successfully operate rigging equipment to include nylon straps, wire braided straps, wire braided chain slings, sheet stock handler, rail rack attachment, and spreader bars.

  • Successfully operate a fork truck, crane, and combi lift

  • Wear a fall protection body harness and lanyard

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy,IL will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing experience

  • Forklift operating experience

  • Overhead crane operating experience
