Robert Half Title Curative Specialist in Trevose, Pennsylvania

Description

This is a TEMPORARY-to-HIRE, full-time opportunity that can lead to a PERMANENT position and consists of multiple positions for both an ONSITE (w/ potential hybrid flexibility down the road). The hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

A property management company has 3 different positions open (Default Title Specialist, Default Title Curative Specialist, REO Specialist).

Default Title Specialist:

  • Investigate/research/resolve issues with the title search package in preparation for client delivery.

  • Review title search products for quality and accuracy. Review is inclusive of, but not limited to, vesting, liens & encumbrances, legal descriptions, taxes, etc.

  • Work with outsource partners to prepare and QC title search packages to be delivered to customers.

  • Submit invoices for services rendered to clients.

  • Make changes to title search packages upon client request.

  • Assists with other default title matters as needed.

  • Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of title/mortgage/curative or financial company experience.

  • Software exp. in BKFS (BlackKnight), LPS, or LoanSphere

  • 1+ years of Curative/REO/Foreclosure/Purchase Title experience preferred.

Default Title Curative Specialist:

  • Review all accessible information & documentation to formalize the most efficient and effective course of action to resolve title defects in accordance with investor guidelines.

  • Intake title curative referrals and evaluate same for accuracy & validity. Evaluation is inclusive of, but not limited to, examining title searches for vesting, liens & encumbrances, legal descriptions, etc.

  • Scope of curative work may involve, but not be limited to, filing of title insurance claims, curative litigation management, preparation of curative documentation to be filed/recorded, engagement of creditors/lienholders to secure lien releases, satisfaction pieces, etc.

  • Assists with other default title matters as needed.

  • Submit invoices for services rendered to clients.

  • Potential to assist with Default Foreclosure Title portfolio.

  • Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Curative/REO/Foreclosure experience preferred.

  • Software exp. in BKFS (BlackKnight), LPS, or LoanSphere

  • 3-5+ years of title/curative/default mortgage servicing or financial company experience preferred.

REO Specialist

  • Strong understanding of Resware

  • Review Contracts and open orders for investor services related products

  • Update spreadsheets/reports for weekly distribution

  • Perform final check for taxes, premium, endorsement, vesting and all other checklist items prior to sending to closing

  • Work with Realtors, vendors, asset companies and attorneys to coordinate title clearance, closing and ALTA/CD approval

  • Work with scheduler to set closing times with customers

  • Responsible for managing own timeliness and efficiency of workflow

  • Fulfill standards for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company goals and vision

  • Requirements:

  • 1+ years of REO/Foreclosure/Purchase Title experience preferred

  • 1-3 years of title/mortgage or financial company preferred
