Position Summary

The Email Marketing Manager will be the driving force behind our email marketing communications and nurture campaigns, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty. The candidate will be pivotal in leveraging our ESP/marketing automation platform to build out advanced segmentation and workflows, ensuring an optimized customer journey. This role requires close collaboration with the Merchandising, Sales, and IT teams to contribute to the business's success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive email marketing strategy across multiple channels including email, SMS, and our website, tailored to various stages of the customer lifecycle.

  • Manage and optimize all aspects of email marketing, from list management to complex workflow creation, maintaining a high level of accuracy in tracking and reporting.

  • Foster continuous improvement through rigorous A/B and multivariate testing on design, content, and delivery timing.

  • Maintain the email marketing calendar, ensuring ongoing engagement with the latest news and content.

  • Construct and administer an integrated marketing automation infrastructure to support strategic goals, driving increases in repurchase rates and customer share of wallet.

  • Day-to-day administration and enhancement of marketing automation tools, focusing on system efficiency and data synchronization.

  • Craft personalized campaigns to engage distinct customer segments and manage ongoing drip/nurture strategies.

  • Translate digital marketing objectives into actionable segmentation and targeting initiatives within the automation platform.

  • Conduct thorough analytics review, report generation, and dashboard configuration to guide future marketing decisions.

  • Proactively work on new projects and creative ideas to enhance customer conversion rates and campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 3 years+ of experience in email marketing/automation with a successful track record in nurturing programs.

  • Strong experience with CRM integration, segmentation, and email marketing services (Klaviyo experience is highly valued).

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic and data-centric approach to marketing decisions.

  • Expertise in A/B and multivariate testing, drip campaign management, and email optimization.

  • Proficient in managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to shifting priorities.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including marketing funnels, customer journeys, buyer lifecycle stages, and inbound marketing methodology.

  • Technical proficiency with XML, API connectivity, and data management.
