About your next Challenge as a Tooling attendant & Storekeeper :

Reporting directly to the Logistics/ Program Support Supervisor, your role consists of three main functions: Tool Control, Warehousing and Grooming.

Your role includes providing proper Tool Control and maintaining Aircraft Support and Test Equipment in a serviceable state ready for use by the Maintenance Team. It also involves daily Issue & Return of tools and STE equipment, performing tool Kit inspections, routine Tool Crib maintenance, as well as carrying out assigned tasks while following the Tool Control procedures and L3 Technologies MAS Inc approved processes. It also includes general Warehousing functions such as Shipping and Inventory Management, and also performing aircraft Grooms and Washes.

This is a shift work position which includes a day shift (6:00 am to 17:24 pm) and an afternoon shift which rotates once out of every 4-5 weeks (14:36 pm to 2:00 am).

Your Primary functions include but are not limited to:

  • Record the issue and return transactions for Tools or STE to Maintenance;

  • Inspect and maintain Tool Kits, Tool Boards and Servicing Boards as required;

  • Performing cycle counts and reporting tools and equipment balance discrepancies to Supervisor for resolution;

  • Inspect and record the serviceability of STE and tools;

  • Maintain a schedule for tool calibration;

  • Ensure all material issued are in apparent serviceable condition and that necessary documentation accompanies the material;

  • Clean and organize Tool Crib as directed, including sweeping, dusting, house-keeping;

  • Follow all site Safety and Security Procedures;

  • Perform all assignments and tasks in a safe manner;

  • Report any unsafe or potentially unsafe working conditions to management immediately;

  • Ensure compliance with established internal procedures;

  • Provide professional customer service to internal and external customers;

  • Liaise with 8 Wing Tool Control for maintenance, inspections and exchange of tools and STE equipment;

  • Liaise with outside Vendors when required for inspection and maintenance of tools and STE equipment;

  • Provisioning, preservation and issuing of all aircraft components, parts and material to authorized personnel only;

  • Preservation, packing, recording and control of items for key repair/ overhaul of components/ aircraft;

  • Ensure ramp vehicles are in working order by coordination repairs, inspections, refueling;

  • Contribute to the creation of new and revision of existing processes and procedures as part of the L3 Technologies MAS Inc Continuous Improvement Program;

  • Perform Aircraft Grooms and Washes;

  • Support group projects as assigned by Supervisor;
