About our Role

With 23 on-site client panels, 12 of our own commercial panels (spread around the globe), over 30 years' experience and the ability to work both in and out-of-the-lab, our sensory analysis tools and techniques are second to none when it comes to both quality and agility

Our Sensory Panel Leaders ensure the smooth running of panel sessions, and assist in their day-to-day management. The role is to lead panel sessions, create proposals, and write client reports efficiently.

For more senior applicants you will be leading the client’s sensory projects through completion; from initial briefing to analysing data. You will also ensure that we fulfil our clients' needs and fit their KPIS through, research design, panel session planning and leadership, sensory moderation, and panel performance analysis and monitoring.

You will work collaboratively with the local sensory team and HR team to recruit and train new panelists to ensure that panel numbers are at the required level. This role also requires working closely with the client’s internal sensory scientists.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within sensory panel leading (preferably between 2-4 years).

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Food Science, Sensory Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.

  • Competent in Word, Excel and email. Training will be given in the relevant software packages.

  • Passionate about Sensory Science and looking for a new and exciting challenge.
