Amentum Marketing Manager in Trenton, New Jersey

This hands-on Marketing position is responsible for planning and executing marketing initiatives and events of all sizes from conception to completion. They lead and collaborate with executive leaders, stakeholders throughout the organization and vendors at all levels to ensure that each project runs smoothly, from the kickoff meeting to the lessons learned after action. They also plan and execute a digital marketing strategy including creating video and written content, managing digital advertising, strategizing SEO efforts, and other branding activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

Work with leadership to optimize our annual marketing plan to maximize ROI. Participating in digital marketing strategy and sole responsibility for executing this strategy. Development of written and video content and publishing across multiple channels. Create marketing activity campaigns by brainstorming with stakeholders across the organization. Research and analyze marketing trends to keep the company forward leaning in its marketing activities. Track ROI and conduct lessons learned for related marketing activities. Maintain a working knowledge of the companies’ capabilities and groups to assist in pulling the right people into planning and execution of activities. Work with stakeholders to manage the conception and creation of materials and graphics related to events. Work tradeshow booths during show hours.

Communicating clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing such as over email.

Listening to others and responding to their questions or concerns.

Excellent organizational skills are critical for keeping track of all the details of an event to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Ability to adjust quickly to changes.

Strong time management skills to include the ability to balance planning multiple activities and events at the same time to meet deadlines and maintain schedules for related activities.

Strong problem-solving skills to include anticipating potential problems and finding solutions to ensure that all aspects of events run smoothly.

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, outside vendors, and stakeholders to plan and execute events. Ability to work with others and build positive relationships.

  • Planning; plan and drive demand generation activity, overseeing it from execution to analysis.

  • Campaign Creation; identify new inbound and outbound marketing activities that deliver a flow of qualified leads while monitoring ROI and optimizing CAC.

  • Produce; high-quality Quarterly newsletters, articles, white papers, blogs, press releases, email marketing messages, presentation content, video scripts, and web copy.

  • Lead Delivery; deliver against the weekly, monthly and quarterly lead generation targets.

  • Webinars, Seminars, Workshops, Trade-Shows; initiate and manage regular events

  • Account Based Marketing; research and develop effective value proposition and messaging for target accounts and verticals. Create and execute an ABM plan to ensure the delivery of high-value content at the optimal moment in an account’s discovery and sales journey, capturing and nurturing leads.

  • Analysis; define success metrics and own the performance analysis of demand generation activities, ensuring ongoing optimization, and analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization to meet sales targets.

  • Research; determine which additional outlets might be beneficial for advertising.

  • Budget Management; track marketing campaign ROI and control the allocation of marketing spend based on past performance, adjusting planned budget allocation in line with results and in-line with annual sales objectives.

  • Lead Management; track lead lifecycle and conversion rates from inquiry to closed deal

  • Lead Tracking; set-up appropriate lead management scoring and reporting processes within Microsoft Dynamics.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as marketing. Prefer master’s degree.

Minimum of ten years’ experience in digital marketing and in person trade events.

Ability to work efficiently remotely

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.
