Telespazio Belgium System & Network Engineer in Transinne, Belgium

Currently, we are looking for a highly enthusiastic System & Network Engineer who will work for Telespazio Belgium, in Belgium.

What is expected from you:

  • Providing technical support, answering support queries via phone, email or face-to-face and providing remote assistance to users.

  • Being the person carrying out the IT tasks for our customers in Belgium depending on projects needs

  • Support end-users with an appropriate support and advice in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.

  • Support Projects for IT & Cybersecurity

  • Ensure the proper functioning of the entire IT infrastructure (Networks & Servers) and maintain the documentation updated.

  • Updating/upgrading and patching of the different equipment to maintain the IT infrastructure.

  • Design, maintain and deploy new policies to ensure that the company meets internal audit, legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Documenting operational support procedures

  • Maintaining and improving the security level of system, software and infrastructure

  • Manage and maintain the smooth running of all IT, backup, and security systems.

  • Work and collaborate on the integration with Telespazio Group IT Services

  • Support procurement and project managers for the procurement of IT supplies

What you offer:

The candidate must be eligible for EU security clearance.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent experience.

Language skills

  • Perfect command of the French and English languages is mandatory.

  • Other languages will be considered as an asset.

Skills and experience

  • Systems: Windows server 2016/2019, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, DNS, CA, File Server, Linux

  • Networking: Switching, Firewalling, Routing, IPS, WiFi, LoadBalancing, Reverse Proxy, HA, LAG, VPN, DHCP, Meraki, Cisco, SSL/TLS

  • Backup : Veeam Backup or others

  • Storage : SAN, NAS (NFS, ISCSI, SMB)

  • Virtualization: Vmware 7.x-8.x, Vmware HA, vCenter, Horizon

  • Scripting PowerShell, python

  • Applications: Microsoft Office, TeamViewer

  • Advantageous skills:

  • O365

  • Cyber Sec (Vulnerabilities management, SIEM,..)

Soft skills :

  • Analytical capabilities and good sense of work organization.

  • Attention to details.

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to cope with stress and to prioritise tasks.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
