Saints Peter and Paul Church in Towanda is looking for a full-time Office Manager for the Parish Office.

Role and responsibilities may include, but not limited to,

  • Create, format and distribute Church Publications including Weekly Bulletin, notices, announcements, and other printed materials as needed
  • Manage the Master Church Calendar
  • Maintain and update multiple church records
  • Count and track donations, and offerings
  • Purchasing office and church related supplies while being fiscally responsible
  • Create and distribute materials as needed for church events: funerals, weddings, dinners, etc.
  • Direct office volunteers
  • Answer church phones during office hours
  • Other duties as assigned by the Pastor

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of sensitivity for confidentiality
  • Ability to quickly prioritize and handle numerous tasks at once
  • Highly energetic self-starter/learner; willingness to explore new possibilities
  • Passion for working in a Christian environment; Warm, friendly, and outgoing personality

Additional Notes:

  • The position requires some flexibility to work extra hours when necessary. Weekends may be included
  • Personal vehicle needed to go to the post office, bank, and events as needed
