State of Wyoming - A&I Employment Support Specialist in Torrington, Wyoming

*This is a non-benefitted, contracted position based on individual office referal needs.

The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is committed to helping people with disabilities establish and reach their vocational goals. Our Torrington office is seeking individuals who can provide work readiness training and job coaching services to people with disabilities. In this role, you will work closely with the DVR counselors to partner with employers within the community to identify and develop employment opportunities, support VR clients in job search activities, provide work readiness training (resume development, job search strategies, interview skills, etc.), assist VR clients with developing communication and self advocacy skills, orient VR clients to learning their job duties and expectations, work with the employer to set up systems at the workplace to make work easier and more efficient for the VR client, set up natural supports in their work setting, and help the VR client to identify and address any further barriers that could prevent them from maintaining employment.

This position requires frequent communication and accurate monthly reporting and invoicing of hours. Services may be provided individually or in a group setting. Participant ages range from 14-70+ years of age.

This is a non-benefited position, part-time to full-time hours. The hours available will be based on the number of VR clients and their needs. Starting wage is $25 per hour.
