Job Description:

Academic requirements:

Industrial Engineer, Industrial Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related career.

Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • 5+ year on similar position

  • Knowledge of packaging materials (corrugated, thermoformed, labels, adhesives).

  • Manufacturing processes of packaging materials.

-Packaging design.

  • Knowledge in validation testing of packaging materials. - Knowledge of design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

  • Diploma in packaging (Desirable).

  • Proficient English

  • Teamwork.

  • Problem solving.

  • Analytical.

  • Leadership

  • Effective communication.

General Objective

Ensure the quality of the packaging to preserve the safety of the product until it reaches the customer.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop packaging.

  • Perform packaging validation tests.

  • Create and document packaging drawings.

  • Create packaging bill of materials.

  • Perform analysis of current packaging for continuous improvement.

  • Troubleshoot packaging related problems on shop floor.

  • Create and document packaging methods.

  • Evaluate prospective suppliers.

  • Provide support in general activities required by the department.
