ManpowerGroup Travel Clerk - Bilingual English and Burmese in Torrance, California

We are hiring for a Travel Clerk!

Work Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm.

Salary range $18-21/hr.

This position requires processing a high volume of travel requests while meeting travel policies, guidelines and budgets to deliver efficient travel arrangements for staff. This position will be working with the travel team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process travel arrangements for field and office staff

  • Reconcile employees’ assignments, collect final travel receipts and documents

  • Review and verify travel invoices and receipts

  • Coordinate with travel agencies, hotel sales representatives, and rental car representatives

  • Multitask in answering phone calls and processing travel arrangements in a timely manner

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associates degree, Bachelor’s Degree in Business, a plus

  • 2 years of customer service or retail experience or in an office environment

  • 2 years of Travel Coordinating and/or Industry experience, a plus

  • Great customer service skills

  • Understanding of travel policies and regulations

  • Knowledge of the travel industry

  • Ability to manage vendor relationships

  • Negotiation and analytical skills

  • Able to analyze problems and critical thinking.

  • Excellent both verbal and written communication skills

  • Detailed oriented

  • Ability work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, web browsing, networking, etc.)

  • Working in a team office environment

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
