Honeywell Principal Account Manager in Torrance, California

As a Principal Account Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. With your extensive experience in managing strategic accounts and driving revenue growth, you will contribute to the company's growth, customer satisfaction, and market leadership.

You will report directly to our Senior Sales Manager. This role requires someone who is driving distance from our clients in the Southern California region.

In this role, you will impact the company's success by managing and growing a portfolio of strategic accounts. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customer relationships, develop and execute strategic account plans, identify new business opportunities, and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs. Additionally, you will mentor account managers and sales teams to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 10+ years of Sales, Business Development or Project Management experience in the Automation & Control industry.

  • Thorough knowledge of market penetration strategies and market development strategies and techniques.

  • Strong understanding of Automation and Process solutions, including DCS, and SCADA.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of business impact of automation solutions used across the Refining, Chemical, Mining and Pharma market.

  • Proven business development and ability to develop relationships with decision makers within new customer accounts.

  • Success identifying new opportunities and customers, developing and implementing successful pursuit strategies.

  • Must be driving distance from Southern California.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Create Sales and Business development strategies to increase company revenue and brand value.

  • Work with executive leadership to build a dynamic and future flexible business strategy for rapid growth in this market space.

  • Advise on the industry trends and support the development of growth strategies. Analyze existing business strategies and provide recommendations for future growth.

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of potential new accounts, greenfield projects, business opportunities, and partnerships within the Automation & Control industry.

  • Pursue new business opportunities and ensure seamless handoff from business development to sales.

  • Help executive leadership in setting investment direction to support profitable growth in this market space.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including products teams, technical sales consultants, and marketing, to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new business opportunities and partnerships in the Region.

  • Work with other divisions within the company to leverage synergies and expand the company's offerings in their specific business unit as One Honeywell.

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of Sales, Business Development or Project Management experience in the automation solutions for the Refining, Chemical, Mining and Pharma industry.

  • Strong understanding of Automation and Process solutions, including DCS, and SCADA.

  • Success identifying new opportunities and customers, developing and implementing successful pursuit strategies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
