Hourly Range: $20 - $30 /hr DoE

Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring all vendor Accounts Payable and Expense Reporting activities are completed timely and accurately processed and reported.

  • Support site production goals by working with Operations and Supply Chain staff to satisfy commitments to our vendors and internal customers.

  • Work with home office Accounts Payable and Controller’s office staff to ensure timely payments to vendors and accurate financial reporting.

  • Responsible for analyzing accounts, records, reports, ledgers, and other accounting documents for accuracy, adequacy, and reasonableness.

  • Investigates questionable entries and initiates or takes the necessary action to correct.

  • Compiles data for preparation of tax schedules, journal posting, and other accounting activities.

  • Maintains files associated with duties listed below and prepares information for processing.

  • Accounts Payable – process and post payables, invoices, payments, and purchase orders.

  • Expense Control – audit employee travel expense account reports; monitor, evaluate, and maintain records on other employee expense reimbursements.

  • Other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • Math proficiency

  • Basic computer skills, e.g. Excel and other Microsoft Office products

  • Basic principles of accounting / bookkeeping

  • 2 years prior experience working with Accounts Payable preferred

  • Experience working with Supply Chain staff in an ERP system environment
