What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and executing SQL queries to create ad-hoc reports, analyses and datasets based on business needs

  • Provide continuous analysis of existing case data, fraud system rules, and reporting logic to ensure data integrity and accuracy

  • Identify and recommend enhancements to existing processes, rules and reports

  • Provide support to the various Fraud Systems, including technical changes being implemented into the environment

  • Collaborate and communicate frequently with internal stakeholders, such as IT, Fraud Operations and Fraud Investigations

  • Train and support new and existing Fraud System users as required

  • Work with external vendors to troubleshoot system issues, assist with testing and perform business validation during system upgrades

  • Provide on-call assistance during evenings, weekends, and holidays 24/7 on a rotational basis

What you'll have:

  • Demonstrated business reporting and analytical experience. Previous experience in an IT related function is an asset

  • Post-secondary education within a Business or quantitative field

  • Technical Aptitude: Must have SQL knowledge and sound understanding of database queries, structures and data management principles and MS Excel. Business Objects, Databricks, Oracle and Access knowledge will be an asset

  • Previous experience in Fraud or Telecommunications is strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Detail oriented with ability to work independently and in a team environment
