We are currently looking for talented Software Development Engineers to join our engineering group in Toronto, ON. Ideal candidates are leaders and trailblazers who aren’t afraid of tackling systems of massive scale and layered complexity. They are able to deliver on ambiguous requirements by putting themselves in the shoes of our customers to deliver the right experience. They are passionate about writing code and love to build distributed systems that are transactional, scalable, high throughput, fault tolerant and always available. They are able to design and develop beautiful front-end UI as well as the massively scalable back-end services to support it. We’re looking for engineers who are comfortable driving the end to end solution and who can do so in an autonomous creative manner. Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

  • 2+ years of building production software experience

  • Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
