Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
Understand and contribute to the Business Line strategy by delivering actionable recommendations based on profitability analysis, market trends, policy analysis and end-to-end process enhancements.
Support day to day strategic pricing group activities.
Interact with Sales, Business Support Centre, Technology teams and Product Labs on the development and enhancements of different pricing & billing systems, minimize revenue leakage and enhance functionalities.
Data Analytics: Conduct analysis on portfolio composition, pricing structures, vintages of expired agreements, discount levels, client volumes, renewals, depth of relationship, etc. Use data analytics to provide pricing recommendations and/or policy changes.
Recommend solutions to improve customer experience, product pricing, service and/or processes.
Conduct impact assessments (on customers, operations, and risk) when changes affecting processes are proposed.
Assist with new projects and provide input into the review of business requirements, including supporting technology initiatives.
Maintain a culture of risk management and control supported by effective processes and ensure all systems and processes are in compliance and meet all regulatory requirements.

You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education.

You are an enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, working both independently and within a team environment.
You have a high degree of strategic thinking and comfort in doing financial analysis and business casing opportunities.
You are capable of analytical thinking and an ability to deliver actionable recommendations from analysis in a timely manner.
You have a proven ability to assess competitive landscapes for products and can make recommendations to close any competitive gaps.
You have strong communication and presentation skills.
You are a strong collaborator who engages colleagues and business partners on developing and executing on strategic recommendations.
You have the flexibility to adapt and manage within a dynamic business environment.
If you have analytical skills, statistical modeling and experience with Python, Access, SQL and VBA, this would be considered an asset.
