Insight Global Business Analyst in Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team at a global bank who should be comfortable going onsite 3x a week to Downtown Toronto. This candidate will be joining a growing team in Toronto for ongoing regulatory requirements within the Prime Brokerage group. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between operational users and technical teams to convert regulatory requirements. We are looking for someone who is confident in maintaining regular communication with stakeholders, including developers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment and clarity on the project. This candidate ideally would have some Project Management experience/capabilities to run with deliverables and ensure timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct meetings with operational users to understand their needs and gather Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) from operational users.

  • Convert BRDs into technical specifications to facilitate developer work.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and documentation of requirements.

  • Assist in regulatory processes and execution of project.

Skills and Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst

  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management

  • Background working with enterprise level banks/financial institutions

  • Experience working in an Agile environment

  • Excellent knowledge in BASEL and LCR for regulatory compliance

  • Comfortable working with large data sets to analyze/summarize in Excel (Pivot Tables)

  • Excellent communication with the ability to prepare presentations, collaborate with teams and work with senior executives null
