Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity
The scrum master area lead is the line manager for the team of scrum master chapter leads. You will lead a team of Scrum Master Chapter Leads, whose primary responsibility is to support scrum masters and Agile teams to achieve their goals. As a scum master area lead you would develop and support chapter leads. Oversee the execution and adherence of scrum procedures, ensuring all Agile activities are consistent across the families.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to VP, PMO.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
You are the people manager for the scrum master chapter leads
Oversee the execution and adherence of procedures, ensuring the strategies and activities are consistent with goals
Oversee the agile ways of working, tools and work with the Agile coaches to establish scrum standards across multiple teams/families
Lead the community of Scrum Masters to ensure sprint planning and task definition, sprint execution, impediment removal and tracking, sprint review, backlog refinement and retrospectives occur within product teams
Partner with your Agile coach to support the professional development of Scrum Master's and build a culture of learning, discovery and accountability
Oversee the execution and adherence of policies, ensuring the strategies and activities are consistent with business goals
Report on team's health, maturity, and Agile delivery metrics
Ensure daily stand-up and community of practice for the community of Scrum Masters are being conducted

Your Moneris Career - What you bring
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
4 to 6 years of relevant work experience as a Scrum Master
3+ year of leadership management experience
4+ years Agile methodology experience in a large enterprise environment
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP or other related certifications
3+ years of experience with JIRA, Confluence, Miro and other Agile tools
