Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations.

  • Oversee routine maintenance and repairs of production machinery, including but not limited to machines, conveyors, and related equipment.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment modifications.

  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts, ensuring availability while minimizing excess stock.

  • Order and procure necessary parts and tools, maintaining cost-effectiveness and timely availability.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage maintenance team.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.;

  • 6+ years leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or flexible packaging environment;

  • 3 to 5 years experience as a Millwright;

  • 4 to 6 years electrical and machine experience;

  • Technical school or skilled trade program preferred.
