Kelly Services in partnership with a leader in precision machines parts, is hiring a 2 nd shift Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor leads and manages the machine shop floor, ensuring adherence to work schedules and safety standards. This role involves planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending enhancements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.

DETAILS :

  • 2 nd shift: M-Th- 3 pm - 12: 30am

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Motivating, mentoring, providing technical guidance, and addressing individual employee needs.

  • Balancing quality, productivity, safety, and morale to achieve positive outcomes in all areas; continuously seeking improvements.

  • Enforcing safety standards across the shop floor.

  • Exercising sound judgment and demonstrating excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).

  • Organizing and prioritizing floor needs effectively.

  • Maintaining a positive work atmosphere.

  • Working overtime as needed.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.

  • A minimum of 5 years of machining experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Preferred experience with forklifts and milling.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software.
