HMT Tank Drafter, Tanks in Tomball, Texas

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Works on projects with assigned design engineer to complete projects on time and within budget.

  • Applies industry and company standards in preparation and review of drawings, details, and diagrams

  • Prepares fabrication and manufacturing drawings and assist PM and project engineer with any issues related to drawings

  • Assists project/design engineers and project leads with problems requiring advanced understanding of layout and drafting

  • Assists with project/design engineer, project lead, client and/or official contacts pertaining to specific assignments

  • Maintain and update all assigned projects on the Engineering Schedule

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent

  • 1 year of experience drafting tanks preferred

  • 1 years' experience with AUTOCAD 2D

Preferred Experience:

  • Excellent Reading and Writing Skills

  • Advanced Math Skills

  • API 653 Certification a plus
