JBS USA FAB QA TECHNICIAN 2ND SHIFT in Tolleson, Arizona

Monitor the implementation of food safety and quality procedures on the floor, report deficiencies and correct them. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor SOP’s, SSOP’s, and GMP compliance of associates, perform HACCP procedures to comply with federal regulations

  • Work with USDA and present records to them at the agency’s request

  • Review records to ensure accuracy and be held accountable to their accuracy

  • Aid QA supervisor and management in gathering data for investigations

  • Work closely with production associates in monitoring meat product for specifications, and correcting specification deficiencies

  • Assist in other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Problem solving skills

  • Able to work in an independent environment

  • Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment preferred

  • Reliable

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to Monday through Friday, and occasional weekends when needed

  • Comfortable working in a cold environment

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to work second shift 3pm - 1 am
