ProMedica Health System Senior Financial Analyst - Reimbursement and Decision Support - Full Time - Hybrid in Toledo, Ohio

Is responsible for financial reporting of service line (defined and identified at a patient level) results and all related analyses requested on an ad hoc basis by management for pursuing opportunities in clinical utilization, quality of care, assessments of new programs, trends in volume, payment and cost experience, etc. Maintains a thorough knowledge of the ProMedica source systems that are feeding the application and establishes processes to ensure the accurate flow of information into the decision support systems and the processing of data into information. Participates in activities for system upgrades and enhancements Reviews and validates opportunities in the Strata Continuous Improvement module. Generates reports for Medicare and Medicaid cost reports. Possesses a strong understanding of financial databases and the techniques for providing information for decision support for management. Demonstrates ownership of the integrity of financial information used in decision-making. Develops and maintains good communication with own team members as well as the PHS users of the information.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.

Skills: High Degree of competence in managing data bases, reporting, and use of Microsoft Office tools.

Years of Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years in a related financial/ accounting position.
