SSOE is looking to hire a Fully Remote Senior Electrical Engineer to work with a team of junior and senior electrical engineers in the design of state-of-the-art industrial and manufacturing facilities for the world's leading companies. Responsibilities The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating large engineering assignments with overall responsibility for budget adherence, schedule adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination. This includes, but is not limited to, the stamping/sealing of one's drawings/documents as well as drawings/documents done as the professional in "responsible charge" as defined by the applicable statute of jurisdiction. May plan and develop engineering projects concerned with unique or controversial problems, offering highly specialized knowledge and skills in a particular branch of engineering. Maintains liaison with individuals within and outside the firm with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the chosen field. Supervision received is essentially administrative and assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits. May plan, organize, supervise, and review the work of a team of engineers and designers working on the same assigned project. Takes a very active part in client contact and business development activities. Prepares or supervises preparation of contract proposals and participates in presentations. Meets regularly with client to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction. Accepts or rejects major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction. Maintains continuing professional education as detailed in registered states' voluntary or mandatory requirements. Travel required. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Engineering and full professional registration required Ten or more years of related practical experience. Experience in lieu of professional license may be approved in select disciplines at the sole discretion of SSOE. Salary Range: $125,000-150,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. Valid driver's license required.
