Serving three primary markets - passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Material Handlers help ensure we safely and accurately transport materials and finished goods throughout the plant to our Customers. Immediately hiring for 2nd shift (2:45pm - 10:45pm). Hourly rate is $18.50, plus 30 cent shift differential. Responsibilities: Transport materials and inventory to assigned locations using various methods such as forklift, tugger, pallet jack, etc. Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule. Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information. Conduct cycle counts, which includes verifying accuracy of quantity of materials Load finished goods for shipment to customers with industrial truck / material handling equipment Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
