Finance Analyst, Insulation Location(s): Toledo, OH, US, 43659-0001 Function: Finance and Accounting Audience: Experienced Professional Work Arrangement: Hybrid Requisition ID: 63054 PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Finance Analyst provides finance support for Owens Corning's original equipment manufacturer (OEM) business. This position is accountable for providing a clear and insightful view of the financial outlook of the business as well as meaningful and timely reporting of results. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in leveraging financial modeling and analytics to provide business insights that result in actionable plans and contribute to the achievement of the short and long-term objectives of the organization. Accountabilities include: Financial support for OEM business with $90MM in sales revenue. General ledger oversight, Month end tasks within ERP system, driving enhancements for future state. Financial partnership with commercial, engineering, corporate FP&A, manufacturing facilities. Accounting/financial support for consolidation and restructuring efforts for manufacturing facilities. Provide manufacturing plants with financial insight and identify areas of improvement. Develop and drive process improvements across the finance department. Month end closing responsibilities to ensure timeliness and adherence to proper accounting principles. Maintaining internal control support and procedures. Reports to: OEM Plant Controller Span of Control: Individual contributor. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Monthly Closing and Management Reporting Support month end closing process to ensure timely completion and adherence to accounting principles. Partner closely with commercial analysts and business finance leaders to ensure accuracy of results. Collaborate with plant leadership across three fabrication sites to understand and reconcile variances. Support monthly/quarterly results reporting for business leadership, Insulation FP&A, and external reporting. Review SOX controls on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance and responsible for sign off on plant rep letters for the multiple manufacturing sites. Planning and Forecasting Collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to develop and deliver actionable and transparent operations plans and forecasts. Support monthly forecast process with fabrication sites to ensure EBIT alignment for the business. Support capital plan and execution in close partnership with operations teams. Perform trend analysis on key business KPIs to understand risk and opportunities (ex: labor/period costs, fabrication gains/losses). Deliver manufacturing efficiency and productivity metrics to plant management. Cross-functional Support and Collaboration Foster influential working relationships with key stakeholders by providing insight and guidance that consistently improves thinking and decision-making. Provide plant teams with insight into the key drivers impacting their results related to fabrication. Generate ad-hoc reporting as needed by the business and corporate stakeholders. JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline. 3 years of professional finance experience. Experience managing common reports such as P&L, variances, etc... Intermediate experience in Excel and other Office applications. Understanding of GAAP. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Costing knowledge. Multi-site reporting
