Job Purpose and Impact

The Trading Supply Chain Lead will lead a team that focuses on business projects to support long term supply chain strategies and business goals. In this role, you will participate in the project planning, lead the project implementation, manage project budget and resource allocation, monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, resolve project obstacles and coordinate cross functional work teams to increase the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives in a sustainable way.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute all supply chain projects within the assigned areas, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, prioritize supply chain productivity, optimize cost performance and communicate recommendations to the management team to achieve operation efficiency.

  • Analyze and design complex projects and process improvements to drive continuous improvement in the assigned areas, including process automation and waste elimination.

  • Apply deep understanding of supply chain practices and procedures, monitor processes and ensure best practices are shared among locations.

  • Contribute in building models for network design and optimization activities and define project scope on complex modeling scenarios.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Relevant Supply Chain, Warehouse and Customer Service experience

  • Strong experience in people management (at least 5 people) for at least 2-3 years & has ability to negotiate and communicate effectively.

  • Language skills: Japanese fluent or native / English business level

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

  • Different Industry experience

  • Has both experiences working globally and domestically
