Description

Japan Consumer Innovation (JCI) Retail Scaling Team is seeking a Senior Program Manager who contributes to our mission of developing selling partner capabilities through quality engagement solutions. This role, which requires business-level Japanese and English, brings together business skills, empirical data, social engagement and external technology into learning about Amazon operations, product and programs for selling partners that increase and maximizes selling partner knowledge and capabilities. It's a unique opportunity to get broad exposure to Amazon Retail leadership and support partners of JP/worldwide. What Can Be Achieved Via This Position

• Create and communicate an engagement philosophy and vision that will affect change through “thought leadership”.

• Champion the voice of the ‘vendor’ and collaborate with local and global teams to generate innovative solutions and challenging business problems and future needs.

• Understand the future direction of the business and adapt the delivery strategy of training solutions

Key job responsibilities

• Launch a new education program that drives selling partner engagement and learn

• Test and pilot new solution to drive selling partners to engage with training

• Partner with internal teams to drive training knowledge with selling partners

• Work with Legal, Finance, and internal teams to assess risks and feasibility about new program opportunity

• Develop new solutions to encourage learning and engagement

• Partner with other functional teams across product and program orgs to identify selling partner needs

• Understand selling partners needs and executing to high expectations in a fast-paced environment

• Interacting with stakeholders at multiple levels and in multiple locations, and working with business, marketing, tech, data and legal teams to define and deliver training and content

• Anticipating bottlenecks, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing business needs versus seller needs

• Making smart tradeoffs, coordinate dependencies, and maintain communication with stakeholders to efficiently define support programs

• Identify business challenges/needs via executing researches and deep-dives (e.g. company-wide surveys and interviews)
