The role Supports customers in SLM engagements (managed services and/or projects) by applying service and project methodologies in the execution of tasks. You will assist with analysis, research and deployment of solutions that drives benefit into customer engagements. Consultant has a focus on either Delivery Management of SAM or license Procurement. Core Accountabilities: Support the successful onboarding of new small SLM customer engagements Support the transfer of existing, established SLM customer engagements between consultants as required Execution of tasks as defined within customer project plan Ensure the execution of solution in accordance with SoftwareOne service and project methodologies Effective internal and external communication with all stakeholders Direct customer contact (as required) Working on customer site (as required) Participate in and contribute to Customer and SoftwareOne business review meetings Consistently demonstrating SoftwareOne’s core values, both externally and internally Job-Specific Accountabilities: Focus on either 1) Delivery Management of SAM or 2) Procurement 1. Software Asset Management Inventory / entitlement data analysis and collection Importing inventory / entitlement data to SAM tools Inventory / entitlement data reconciliation and analysis for the purpose of accurate compliance reporting, and presentation for peer review In SAM tool license configuration Providing recommendations to customers to help improve their compliance position or achieve savings (e.g. licence re-harvesting opportunities) Assist with SLM Diagnostic workshops, transcribing interviews and creation of first draft reports, and presentation for peer review Deployment of tools to support customer engagements (Technical) 2.
