Description

Amazon Japan is looking for an experienced Product Leader to own and drive the transformation of our reverse logistics, after market services and inventory recovery. The Senior Manager Product Management, Head of After Market Services (AMS) - leads a team of Senior Product Managers that own the Amazon Japan end-to-end reverse logistics domain.

This leader is accountable for the vision, long-term strategy, and product innovation roadmap for AMS. The scope starts from customer consideration of returns and improving CX to reduce defects that lead to returns, followed by the full reverse logistics and recovery process. This includes disposal of unsellable inventory (from customer returns and other sources of damage), through vendor returns, Warehouse Deals (WHD), liquidations, donations, and removal (destroy).

The scope of impact includes lowering Amazon's Cost-to-Serve, Free Cash Flow (FCF), and Amazon Japan Sustainability agenda. AMS drives waste reduction and diversion through ensuring products follow the most efficient disposal pathway.

The leader will own and drive the roadmap of future innovation and define the long-range strategy.

You will be a Product Management expert, well versed in PM methodologies and tools, and be an effective communicator with tech/non-tech leaders, both written and verbally.

This is a high impact role with visibility at senior Retail leader level, including Country Leaders and VPs, as well as leaders in the WW organization.

We're looking for a Product Management leader with a track record of managing complex roadmap, thinking big, and delivering paradigm shifts on a global scale. This is a people manager role within product and program.
