Amazon Program Manager, Expansion/Initiative, Last Mile Account Management in Tokyo, Japan

Description

The Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Team is responsible for the acquisition, design, construction, operation and management of all facilities in the Amazon Delivery Station Network.

We are looking for a talented professional to join our JP AMZL LMAM(Last Mile Account Management) Program Management who will support the capacity expansion of Japan AMZL’s Last Mile network.

This position is an opportunity for the team, and is a core position responsible for planning, executing and optimizing initiatives for AMZL to expand in the Japanese market.

Specifically, we are responsible that Bid process optimize and execution for geo-expansion ,and new initiatives from leadership direction.

Projects are mainly medium to large-scale and this role is expected to handle these projects from planning to completion while obtaining required support by stakeholders, hence Project Management experience and ability to manage independently is required. Further, post project completion KPI and monitoring process development is necessary to ensure that the system is maintained in an optimal state. Since this position is a core position that supports AMZL's expansion strategy, there are frequent decision-making and approval processes, hence Document creation ability and experience for High-level stakeholder is also required.

Key job responsibilities

  • Project Management include planning and execution

  • Structuring mechanism using clear logic and optimize.

  • Documentation and analysis for High-level stakeholders

  • Identify and evaluate potential risks/obstacles both internal and external business environment with minimal direction

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Business level of English and Japanese

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
