Neuberger Berman Portfolio Specialist in Tokyo, Japan

Summary:

A member of the Client Platform Group supporting our growing East Asia client base and Neuberger Berman Equity teams. This position is responsible to provide services to our clients including client reporting, client presentations, product analysis and commentaries related to the strategies, markets and macro-economies.

Closely partners with key stakeholders in Neuberger Berman including investment teams, client portfolio managers, sales, global marketing, and RFP to support a fast growing client base and assure a high quality of Equity related services to East Asia clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting presentations at various client meetings, seminars and study sessions for existing Equity strategies.

  • Understand Equity investment capabilities with requisite depth and range to be able to develop and deliver client materials and commentaries.

  • Conduct thorough client meeting preparation and attend the meetings; research each client/prospect/consultant in advance of their meeting and present preparatory materials.

  • Answer client inquiries regarding portfolio data inclusive of fund performance, investment details, and market outlook

  • Work closely with sales and product management teams in East Asia on business development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years post-graduate experience in financial industry with experience in Equity products and strategies

  • Knowledge of Equity Investment and portfolio analysis inclusive of performance, attribution, and exposure

  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize work within a dynamic and deadline driven environment

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese and ideally in English. Accountable with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate effectively with subject matter experts and incorporate edits based on instructions from investment, sales, and legal teams
