Our business operations and technical department in Koto City, Tokyo is now looking for a National Operations Manager. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and effective processes are followed for the smooth running of all operational aspects of the business including people, process and budget related for Customer Support, Technical Support, Warehouse and Logistics. Key Tasks
- Leadership of Warehouse, Logistics & Planning and Customer Support Employees,
Sales and Technical support for customers (Customer Support)
Inventory Management, planning Import/Export in collaboration with Regional Supply Chain Team.
Management of the Demonstration/Trial stock area to support sales (Tech Team)
Oversee Technical repairs and local final configuration (Tech team)
Oversee Inwards and Outwards goods (Warehouse/Logistics)
Stock-takes to corporate standards (Warehouse/Logistics)
Expenses management and budget preparation for operational cost centres
Monthly Reporting on Operational metrics
Performance reviews, goal setting for direct reports
ICT – liaison with Regional Lead for Operational issues/Dashboards, Local SharePoint/ERP
As part of the Japan Management Team - Instilling and embodying the Permobil Japan Vision and Culture
Creating efficiencies in operational work processes
Any other reasonable request made by Management

Your Background
A minimum of bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field
English Language Skills
Experience in process improvement and creating process efficiencies
Computer skills using typical business applications Excel Powerpoint, Teams
Import and export, inventory Management
Experience using an ERP
People Management experience
