Description

The Product Manager role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and commercial success of our IBD portfolio while serving unmet needs of IBD patients in Japan.

As a Product Manager specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), you will play a pivotal role in driving the development, launch, and lifecycle management of our products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, medical affairs, and market access, you will be responsible for driving pivotal initiatives and grow the commercial potential of our assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand trends, deepM-dive into market insights and make business decisions through data analytics and market information. Report on qualitative, quantitative and competitive data related to portfolio and our competitive landscape

  • Develop marketing and brand strategies by identifying appropriate marketing channels and messages, crafting promotional plans, implementing processes and materials

  • Support relationship building and strategic partnerships with external stakeholders such as co-promotion partner

  • Engage and develop KOLs/speakers and key prescribers through relevant engagement activities and field visits to gain feedback on our therapies and grow advocacy for them.

  • Lead internal teamwork throughout key business landmarks (e.g. short- and long-term business planning)

  • Run budget to optimize prioritization across expenses

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Learning agility and resilience to adapt swiftly in a constantly evolving and complex business environment. Ability to lead multiple large-scale initiatives simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence teams, and to establish relationships in meeting Company objectives, without formal authority.

  • Customer and resulted oriented, and strong ownership with growth mind-set.

  • Excellent business insight, and strategic and critical thinking skills with an understanding of healthcare ecosystem trends.

  • Ability to build relationships with HCP, key institutions and KOL, professional associations and key decision-makers to gain valuable insights, collect feedback on product performance, and drive advocacy for our therapies.

Preferred:

  • Past experience in IBD and or Marketing role in the pharmaceutical industry

  • New product launch experience

Other:

  • Business English skills: ability to connect with global and Asia-Pacific audiences to drive business.

  • This position requires up to 25% domestic travels.
