<Position Purpose>

Reporting to the Business Insights & Analytics (BI&A) Center of Excellence (CoE), APAC, you will make a significant impact in Johnson and Johnson Innovative medicines Japan to drive market leading, insight led competitiveness. You will lead best in class performance analysis and patient-based forecasting for one of the Johnson & Johnson key therapeutic areas, partnering closely with both market and regional based commercial partners to build data driven brand strategies and drive optimal performance.

<Key Responsible Area>

Business Insights & Analytics: Generate meaningful insights and recommendations derived from connecting data and employing best in class analytics and benchmarking. Conduct analysis at brand and business unit level to confirm commercial performance and future business outlook in collaboration with other departments. Develop patient-based forecasting leveraging primary and secondary data, conduct sensitivity analysis in collaboration with key local and regional commercial partners.

Business Engagement & Partnering: Proactively build and nurture relationships with key business partners to drive insight-based decision making; collaborate with the business on brand(s) performance to address opportunities associated with Products and Customers. Contribute to building regional Business Insights & Analytics (BI&A) center of excellence, along with strategic input in areas for innovation and proof of concept testing.

Qualifications

  • Credo based leadership: Demonstrates integrity, inspires trust, and avoids conflicts of interest in developing and supporting projects, partnerships, and collaborations.

  • Customer Focus: Demonstrates clear understanding of customer’s strategic business context and direction, anticipates needs to meet expectations.

  • Relationship Building / Management: Creates genuine partnerships, interacts confidently, and employs astute perception with strong listening and questioning skills in complex or less familiar situations.

  • Preferred minimum education: University/bachelor’s degree or Equivalent preferred in the field of Business/Marketing/Economics/Life Science.

  • More than 3 years of experience working in Business Intelligence field ideally in Pharmaceuticals, healthcare industry or related Strategic Consulting firms.

  • Proven experience with Japan Pharmaceuticals market performance data using both qualitative and quantitative data. In depth knowledge of Japan healthcare environment & systems.

  • Strong knowledge of sales forecasting techniques in the field of life sciences.

  • Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills

  • Business English TOEIC: 800 and above. English skills in both writing and speaking.

  • Experience in leading cross functional project and working in international environment.
