Cloud Release Managerのポジションでは、クラウドリリース管理チームのメンバーとして、グローバルクラウドプラットフォーム全体でのリリースの計画とスケジュール作成・実行に関わっていただきます。日本に拠点を置くアカウントチームやグローバル技術オペレーションチームと密接に連携して、日本の顧客基盤に影響を与える問題を特定し、顧客が受け取る予定のリリース計画を支援します。

この役割では、SaaSソフトウェアの実装と基本的なクラウドアーキテクチャ、Splunk製品にまつわる一般的なITワークフローと変更管理の実践の経験・知識を求めております。

Splunk Cloudの運用において、新機能や追加機能などのリリース計画やスケジュールの策定、調整、およびフリート全体でのリリース管理など、リリースや製品のレベルでの責任を負います。社内のアカウントチームやエンジニアリングチームと連携し、お客様に対して一貫したリリース過程をサポートいたします。

業務内容

  • SaaS環境での主要な製品リリース、パッチ、および変更の展開を計画、調整、リードするために、プログラム管理を遂行

  • アカウントマネージャーと連携して、プラットフォームのオペレーション活動を顧客向けの言語とベストプラクティスに解釈

  • エンジニアリングプログラムマネージャーと協力して、フリート全体のリリースを担当し、問題解決の実行

  • リリース/実装計画を作成し、さまざまなエンジニアリングチームと調整し、成功した安定した展開を確保

  • 組織の効率を報告および影響するために重要なメトリクスを監視および測定

求める経験・スキル

  • 5年以上のクラウドテクノロジー・ソフトウェアのリリース管理や変更管理の経験が5年以上

  • ネイティブ・流暢な日本語力、ビジネスレベルの英語力

  • ITビジネスプロセスや基本的なクラウドアーキテクチャの知識

  • JIRA、Confluence、Slack、SFDCなどのツールを使用する能力があることが証明されていること

The Splunk Cloud Release Management team ensures some of the world’s biggest enterprises are maximizing their Splunk capabilities by operating on the most secure and innovative releases of Splunk Cloud products. As a member of the Cloud Release Management team, you’ll participate in planning and scheduling of releases across the global cloud platform. You will work closely with our Japan based account teams to translate and communicate changes affecting their cloud environments. This role will be a direct partner with technical operations and account teams to identify issues impacting the Japan customer base and help customers understand the releases they are scheduled to receive. To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate a high level understanding of SaaS software implementation and basic cloud architecture. Candidates should be familiar with change management practices and common IT workflows utilizing Splunk products.

You'll take the lead in owning the release and product levels, which includes release plans, scheduling, coordinating, and managing releases across the fleet. You have strong critical thinking skills, are a self starter and excellent communicator.

You combine customer emotional intelligence and your passion for adapting quickly to deliver frequent, high quality releases that benefit our customers and partners and empower our engineers.

Responsibilities include:

  • You’ll use program management methodologies to plan, coordinate, and lead deployments of major product releases, patches, and changes in a SaaS environment.

  • You’ll partner with account managers to translate platform operations activities into customer facing language and best practices

  • You’ll collaborate with engineering program managers to be responsible for the fleet-wide releases for delivery while ensuring any issues are prioritized and resolved accordingly.

  • Build release/implementation plans, coordinate with various engineering teams and to ensure successful and stable deployments.

  • Supervise and measure critical metrics to report and influence organizational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with engineers to understand the impact of changes.

  • Develop relationships and coordinate with multiple teams and partners in multiple locations.

  • Continually work towards process improvement in the release management process.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a release or change management role.

  • Native Japanese language speaker, Business English level

  • Familiarity with IT business processes and basic cloud architecture

  • demonstrated ability using tools such as; JIRA, Confluence, Slack, SFDC.

  • Ability to drive projects and programs to successful completion whether working solo or with large cross-functional teams.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with operations, product and support teams.

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or other related field or relevant professional experience.
