Aerotek CNC Machinist: 1st Shift START ASAP in Titusville, Florida

Working with a manufacturing company in the Rockledge, FL area that is seeking qualified CNC Machinists for 1st Shift!!!

Description/ Skills & Qualifications:

-Mazak knowledge & experience

-3 & 4 & 5 axis mill setup experience

-Produce large cast and billet parts using Mazak CNC vertical & horizontal mills.

-CNC lathe with live tooling and a Mazak Palletech high rise system.

-Performs complex set-ups for self and/or others

-Operates and adjusts CNC machines such as, but not limited to mills, lathes, etc. in production of complex parts, assemblies, tooling and fixtures.

-Uses and interprets appropriate statistical quality data and is able to identify quality problems through use of said data Knowledge of tooling speeds and feeds, offsets, and minor program changes

-Basic operational proficiency with multiple CNC machines

-Experience with working in a prototype and first piece rapid machining environment

-Must be able to use and interpret precision measuring equipment

-Willing to take on challenges with a "can-do" attitude

-Uses appropriate shop math and trig to develop proper methods, and through experience and training; is able to select appropriate feeds, speeds and tools

-Works from drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions to produce work to close tolerances

-Use various hand tools, such as but not limited to electric drills, drill press, grinders, files, Calipers, Micrometers and other measuring instruments

-Maintains and performs preventive maintenance on machines and related systems

-Set up and Operate multiple, multi-axis machines simultaneously

-Maintains a clean, organized and safe workspace

Schedule:

1st Shift, Monday-Thursday

6:00AM-4:30PM

Pay:

$20-25 hr. based on experience.
