Aerotek Aircraft Assembly Technician in TITUSVILLE, Florida

Description:

Company needs a total of 10 techs, for their gear shop. For the gear shop, the ideal individual comes from the an automotive service center/has automotive experience.

Will also take individuals out of the military that worked on aircraft or vehicles. Will also take people from aviation assembly that have good working knowledge or micrometers and calipers.

Under the direction of the Production Shop Supervisor, the Gear Technician services aircraft landing gear components through troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, and parts replacement at the component/depot level using manuals and other data. This position requires strong mechanical ability and great attention to detail. A Gear Technician must be willing to accomplish both repetitive and unfamiliar tasks on a regular basis with the use of aviation repair manuals.
