What you’ll do:

Located in Titchfield, Hampshire, Eaton’s Aerospace business is a global leader in aerospace fuel systems. We take pride in being a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. Our Titchfield facility features extensive fuel and air system test facilities, enabling comprehensive testing across various conditions and fuel types.

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Division Commodity Buyer to support Eaton’s divisional supply chain organization. This role involves driving commodity management initiatives with suppliers and commodity managers in both Aerospace and plant materials teams. The role provides a unique insight into outsourced activities and involves a diverse range of procurement and project management functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the transition of multiple parts to one or more awarded suppliers, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Reporting progress internally through Tier boards and other necessary channels.

  • Monitoring supplier performance, documenting it using project PEWS, and ensuring they meet committed delivery dates or improve.

  • Driving monthly savings that align with the division’s annual Profit Plan through revised long-term agreements (LTAs) and pricing arrangements.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance supplier performance, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement across the supply base.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant supply chain experience

  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems

  • Proficient in project management and planning

Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills, adept at prioritizing multiple part transitions

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and strong accountability

  • Proven ability to contribute to cross-functional teams, driving results through business initiatives and commodity strategies
